Rick Parnell, associate pastor of the Central Baptist Church, officiating.BURIAL: Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Melton was born January 30, 1911 in Temple. She married Wayne Thomas Melton on December 21, 1927 in Wellington. She and her husband managed the Town House Apartments in Borger from 1965 until 1976. He preceded her in death on April 30, 1993. She had been a resident of Borger from 1943 until 1986 when she moved to Pampa. She was a former member of the Bunavista Methodist Church in Borger. She was a devoted mother and grandmother.SURVIVORS: 2 Daughters: Susie Lindsey & husband Tommy of Pampa, and Wanda Spencer & husband Choppy of Grand Prairie. 4 Grandchildren: Stephanie Poticny & husband Dan of Arlington, Lisa Farina & husband Jayme, and Leigh Ann Huber & husband Nathan, all of Keller, and Lori Lindsey of Lubbock. 4 Great-Grandchildren: Todd Poticny and Taylor Poticny, both of Arlington, and Elisabeth Farina and Presleigh Huber, both of Keller.
