SERVICES: Will be at 2:00 PM, Friday at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel, with pastor Lynn Hancock minister of Briarwood Full Gospel Church officiating.BURIAL: Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Kidd was born June 19, 1924 at St. Charles, Arkansas. He married Renetta Berryman on November 3, 1944 at De Witt, Arkansas. He had been a resident of Pampa since 1953. He worked as an operator at Celanese for 33 years. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army Air Corps Air Rescue, serving during WWII in the Pacific. He was a very active member of the V.F.W. and helped organize the WWII Veteran Memorial in Pampa, and was a Baptist. He was preceded in death by his parents: George and Rachel Kidd, 2 sisters: Lillie Mae Duncan and Faye Chisum, 3 brothers: Early Kidd, John Kidd, and George Kidd, 2 grandchildren: twins Shawn & Shana Albus.SURVIVORS: Wife: Renetta Kidd of the home. 4 Sons: Donnie Kidd of Amarillo, Phillip Kidd of Dallas, William Kidd of Lefors and Toney Kidd of Pampa. 1 Daughter: Sharon Albus of Trinty, Texas. 3 Brothers: Ed Kidd of Odessa, Scott Kidd of Dumas, Arkansas, and Danny Kidd of Velonia, Arkansas. 3 Sisters: Grace L. Ross of De Witt, Arkansas, Dimple Christy of Columbia, Mississippi, and Minnie Rose Miller of Carolton, Kentucky. 15 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
