He was a veteran of the U. S. Army, serving as a medic from 1959 until 1961. He married Louise Ledbetter on February 17, 1961 in Pampa. He was a department manager for Furr's Grocery Store for 15 years. He was a contract pumper in the oilfield until retiring in 2001. He was a member of the Central Baptist Church.SURVIVORS: Wife: Louise Walker of the home. 2 Daughters: Gina Seitz & husband Dean, and Bobbie Walker, all of Mobeetie. 1 Son: Mark Walker of San Antonio. 2 Sisters: Jean Marshall, and Ruby Delso & husband Dan, all of Dewar, Oklahoma. 2 Brothers: Don Walker & wife Irma, and Charles Walker & wife Doris, all of Henryetta, Oklahoma.
