SERVICES: 2:00 PM Thursday, December 9, 2004, at Central Baptist Church, with Rev. C. W. Parker, pastor, Rev. Rick Parnell, associate pastor, and Rev. Paul Nachtigall, pastor of Highland Baptist Church, officiating. BURIAL: Memory Gardens Cemetery, with military honors courtesy U. S. Army, Ft. Hood, Texas. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Mitchell was born July 2,1917 at Campbell, Texas. He married Ola Winegeart on November 8, 1939 in Wellington. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army. He was a mechanic for Johnny Smith Motor Company of Andrews, Texas for 14 years. He was a member of the Central Baptist Church.SURVIVORS: Wife: Ola Mitchell of the home. 1 Daughter: Joyce Fogle of Fredericksburg. 1 Son: Troy Mitchell of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. 1 Sister: Evadale Scott of Weatherford. 2 Brothers: J. L. Mitchell of Amarillo and Bill Mitchell of Irving. 3 Grandchildren, 9 Great-Grandchildren, 3 Step-Grandchildren, 4 Step-Great-Grandchildren.
