SERVICES: Graveside services will be at 11:00 AM Monday, November 22, 2004, at Fairview Cemetery, with Rev. Barry Loving, pastor of the First Christian Church, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Dodd was born April 25, 1921 in Turkey, Texas. She had been a resident of Pampa from 1926 until 2000 when she moved to Fort Worth to be near her children. She married King Dodd on June 19, 1940 in Roswell, New Mexico. He preceded her in death on November 25, 1990. Mrs. Dodd was a social worker for the Texas Department of Human Services for 10 years. She was a member of the First Christian Church, the Opti-Mrs., and she was a foster parent for 21 years. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who died peacefully, surrounded by her family.SURVIVORS: 2 Daughters: Sandra Dodd Hackney of Fort Worth, and Meredith (Katy) Dodd Martin of Hermosa Beach, California. 2 Sons: Keith Ronald Dodd of Fort Worth, and Richard Fishburn of Jacksboro. 5 Grandchildren: Tracy Owen of Larchmont, New York, Lynde Williams of Denton, and Amy Mitchell, Bradley Dodd and Kevin Dodd, all of Fort Worth. 5 Great-Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Gordon (Corky) Dodd in 2002, and by 2 sisters. MEMORIALS: may be made to a favorite charity.
