Dan Snider, son-in-law of Mrs. Etheredge, and pastor of the First Presbyterian Church of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, officiating.BURIAL: Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Etheredge was born October 21, 1924 in Bishop, Texas, to Tom and Elizabeth Lacy. Wanda was baptized in the First Baptist Church of Bishop at a very early age. She graduated from Bishop High School in 1942. She married George O. Etheredge, Jr., the love of her life, on September 26, 1942 in Corpus Christi, Texas. They were married for 60 years before George preceded her in death in 2002. She was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Pampa for over 50 years. She served her Lord faithfully throughout her entire life. She was the precious mother of four children. Her life was devoted to caring for her family, her home, and later her grandchildren. She was an excellent cook and a seamstress, and she also enjoyed flower gardening. Wanda was also known for her willingness to help others at a moments notice.SURVIVORS: 2 Sons: George O. Etheredge, III, and wife Nancy of El Paso, and Thomas Etheredge and wife Cheryl of Benton, Kansas. 2 Daughters: Londa Etheredge Snider & husband Daniel of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, and Suzanne Etheredge French of Panhandle. 1 Sister: Doris Gerrard of Rockport, Mass. 13 Grandchildren, 5 Great-Grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.MEMORIALS: Hospice Care of Kanss, 3241 E.
