SERVICES: 2:00 PM Saturday, November 13, 2004, at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel in Pampa, with Rev. Barry Owens, associate pastor of the First Baptist Church of Pampa, officiating.BURIAL: Fairview Cemetery in Pampa, under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Rutledge was born April 7, 1932 in Childress County, Texas. She was a 1949 graduate of Kirkland High School where she was valedictorian. She married Billy Paul Rutledge on December 24, 1949 in Childress. He preceded her in death in 1968. She had been a resident of Amarillo for the past 31 years, and was a former longtime resident of Pampa. She was a teller for Security Federal in Pampa and Amarillo. She later was a teller at Amarillo National Bank for many years where she retired. She was a former member of the First Baptist Church of Pampa. SURVIVORS: 2 Sons: Tim Rutledge of Amarillo, and Kevin Rutledge of Fountain Hills, Arizona. 1 Sister: Billie Veloni of Paramount, California. 5 Grandchildren: Justin Rutledge and Brea Rutledge, both of Amarillo, Chanae Elaine Willis of Birmingham, Alabama, and Leah Rutledge and Courtney Rutledge, both of Fountain Hills, Arizona.
