SERVICES: 2:00 PM Friday, November 12, 2004, at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel, with Rev. Richard Bartel, pastor of the Calvary Baptist Church, and Rev. Bob Thomas, Odyssey Hospice Chaplain, officiating.BURIAL: Memory Gardens Cemetery, with graveside rites courtesy Pampa Chapter #65 Order of the Eastern Star. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Reeves was born September 7, 1907 in Tahlequah, Indian Territory, Oklahoma. She had been a resident of Pampa since 1928. She married John Hollis Reeves in 1925 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death in 1978. She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church. She was a 50-year member of the Pampa Chapter #65 Order of the Eastern Star, the Rebekah Lodge, the VFW Auxiliary, and was mother advisor of the Pampa Rainbows. SURVIVORS: 1 Daughter: Juanita Evans & husband Brian of White Deer. 1 Daughter-in-Law: Julia Welker of Midland. 7 Grandchildren, 23 Great-Grandchildren, 3 Great-Great-Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, John Hollis Reeves, Jr., a sister, Wanda Herold, and 3 brothers, Lee Leerskov, Arthur Leerskov, and John Leerskov.MEMORIALS: Calvary Baptist Church Television Fund, 900 E. 23rd, Pampa, Texas 79065.
