She had been a resident of Pampa since 1927, moving to Houston in December of 2001. She married Thomas Haggard on December 16, 1942 in Palacios, Texas. He preceded her in death in 1993. She was a charter member of the Pampa Senior Citizens Center.SURVIVORS: 1 Daughter-in-Law: Juanita Brothers of Houston. 6 Grandchildren: Michael Brothers & wife Cathlynn, Craig McDonald & wife Julie, Clay McDonald & wife Kim, Cheryl Pugh & husband Mark, Cressa Payne & husband David, and Tamara Brothers. 19 Great-Grandchildren, 6 Great-Great-Grandchildren. Numerous nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by 4 sisters, 2 brothers, and a son, Oscar Brothers in 2002. MEMORIALS: Pampa Senior Citizens Center, 500 W.
