Allen Wilson, pastor of First Baptist Church of White Deer, officiating.ENTOMBMENT: Memory Gardens West Mausoleum under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Edwards was born on Aug. 17, 1956 in Pampa to Hildred and Jesse Edwards and was a 1974 graduate of Pampa High School. He had been a resident of Dumas for the past 10 years and was a former longtime Pampa resident. He married Connie Lasater on May 22, 2004 in Dumas. He was a pipeline welder and was a member of Pipeliners Local Union #798. He was a former member of the Bible Baptist Church in Pampa. He loved his red dog "Buck" and riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle. He was preceded in death by his father in 1980, and by a brother, Darrell Newman.SURVIVORS: Wife: Connie Edwards of Dumas; 2 sons: Jesse and Jason Edwards, both of Hereford; his mother: Hildred Stafford of White Deer; 3 sisters: Linda Newman of White Deer, Sharon Ramirez of San Angelo, and Stella Spalding of Portsmouth, VA; 1 half-brother: Jack Edwards of Pampa and 2 half-sisters: Bitty Taylor of Pampa and Cecilia Geneva of Howardwick; 2 stepsons: David Dunn and Brian Dunn, both of Pampa; and 2 grandchildren: Brady Dunn and Lainie Dunn, both of White Deer.MEMORIALS: May be made to a favorite charity.
