She attended Wayland Baptist College and West Texas State Teachers College. She married H. B. Taylor, Jr., on October 3, 1937. He preceded her in death on October 3, 2003. She was a member of the First Baptist Church.SURVIVORS: 2 Daughters: Lou Ann Hiatt of Kuna, Idaho, and Kathy Davis of Spring. 1 Son: Leonard Taylor of Charlotte, North Carolina. 6 Grandchildren, 6 Great-Grandchildren. 1 Sister: Evelyn Perser of Fort Worth.
