She was a 1950 graduate of Pampa High School. She married Bill R. Rice on March 21, 1951 at Clayton, New Mexico. He preceded her in death on June 18, 2002. She was a member of the Mary Ellen & Harvester Church of Christ and the Pampa Fine Arts Association. She was an avid artist and specialized in oil painting.SURVIVORS: 1 Son: Clay Rice & wife Beth of Pampa. 1 Daughter: Kymm Murray of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Mother: Iva Back of Pampa. 1 Sister: Jackie Pyeatt & husband A.
