SERVICES: Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM Saturday, October 16, 2004, at Memory Gardens Cemetery, with Rev. Rick Parnell, associate pastor of the Central Baptist Church, officiating. Arrangements are by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Phillips was born May 8, 1916 in Ramona, Oklahoma. She came to Pampa in 1929 from Bristow, Oklahoma, and was a 1935 graduate of Pampa High School. She married Mitchell Phillips on April 24, 1937 in Lubbock. She worked in the cafeteria at Austin Elementary School, and later worked as a sales clerk for Ford's Boys Wear and Wright's Fashion. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, the Home Extension Club and the VFW Ladies Auxiliary.SURVIVORS: Husband: Mitchell Phillips of the home. 3 Sons: Danny Phillips & wife Cindy of Kaufman, Ted Phillips & wife Glenda, and Terry Phillips & wife Brenda, all of Fort Worth. 1 Brother: Frank Conner of Pampa. 2 Sisters: Geraldine Hassell of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Freddie Seitz of Pampa. 8 Grandchildren, several great-grandchildren. MEMORIALS: BSA Hospice, 800 N. Sumner, Pampa, Texas 79065.
