BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Porche was born February 8, 1918 in Yoakum, Texas. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army, serving in France and Germany during World War II. After his discharge he moved to Pampa. He married Tonia Derrick on June 17, 1961 in Pampa. She preceded him in death in 1997. He was a gang pusher for Mobil Oil Company, retiring in 1981. He was a member of the Mary Ellen & Harvester Church of Christ. He was a very caring and generous man who always put the Lord and his family first, and was loved by all.SURVIVORS: 7 Grandchildren, including a grandson, Kevin Porche of San Angelo, and a granddaughter, Lynle Presley of Rogers, Arkansas. 12 Great-Grandchildren. 2 Sisters: Faye McDonald of Edna, and Beatrice Lacy of Aransas Pass. 1 Brother: Chile Porche of Edna. Numerous nieces and nephews.
