SERVICES: Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM Wednesday, October 13, 2004, at Alanreed Cemetery, with Rev. Kelly Raymond, pastor of the First Baptist Church of McLean, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Cox was born November 26, 1949 in McLean. He had been a resident of Pampa since 2001, moving from Gonzales, Louisiana.SURVIVORS: 1 Son: Chad Cox of Amarillo. Mother: Lucille Stacker of Pampa. 3 Sisters: Lona White and Shirley Martinez, both of Pampa, and Sue Bowen of Gonzales, Louisiana. 2 Brothers: Gerald Cox of Evangeline, Louisiana, and Jimmy Nelson of Pampa. 1 Grandson, 3 Step-Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, George William Cox in 2001.
