SERVICES: 2:00 PM Tuesday, October 5, 2004 in Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel with Dr. Johnny Funderburg, pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating. BURIAL: Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Military honors will be conferred by U. S. Army personnel at Ft. Hood, Texas. Masonic graveside rites will conducted by Pampa Masonic Lodge #966 AF & AM.BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Bray was born on April 9, 1917 in Couch, Missouri. He had been a resident of Pampa since 1956. He married Helen L. Combs on Dec. 27, 1941 at Alton, Missouri. She preceded him in death in 1963. He was an operations manager at Cabot for 36 years. He was a member of First Baptist Church. He was a member of the Pampa Masonic Lodge #966 AF & AM, the Pampa V. F. W. Post, Pampa Senior Citizens Center, and Hidden Hills Golf Course. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army serving in World War II with the 134th infantry, he fought in the Battle of the Bulge, and was awarded a Bronze Star Medal and also a Purple Heart.SURVIVORS: 3 daughters: Dorris Reed of Pampa, Carole Cadenhead of Lewisville, and Sue Pettit of Oklahoma City; 1 son: Leon Bray of Houston; 3 sisters: Calma Tuggle of Owasso, OK, Christine Hanover of Broken Arrow, OK, and Lovona Rogers of St. Louis, MO; 9 grandchildren, 2 stepgrandchildren, and 20 great grandchildren.MEMORIALS: Pampa Senior Citizens Center, 500 W.
