SERVICES: Memorial services will be at 4:00 PM Saturday, October 2, 2004, at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel in Pampa, with Rev. Barry Loving, pastor of the First Christian Church of Pampa, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Shelley was born September 1, 1957 in Kermit. She was a graduate of Pampa High School and received her Master's degree in art history from West Texas State University in Canyon. She lived in Clarendon and taught art at Clarendon College until 2001 when she moved to Lubbock. She was employed by Texas Tech University where she was working on her doctorate degree. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Pampa. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Dee & Joy Henderson and Bill & Lorene Wilson, and her step-father, Bob Baker.SURVIVORS: Children: Andrea Shelley of Clarendon, Jessie Shelley of Liberal, Kansas, and Casey Elliott of Lubbock. Mother: Peggy Baker of Amarillo. Father: B. J. Elliott of Kermit. 3 Sisters: Lisa Elliott of Kermit, Valorie Pfannenstiel of Houston, and Terri Wilterding & husband David of Amarillo. 3 Brothers: Dean Elliott & wife Debbie, and Kelly Baker & wife Melody, all of Pampa, and Bobby Elliott of Kermit. 3 Grandchildren: Michaela Whitaker of Clarendon, Dakota Harden and Ethan Harden.
