SERVICES: Graveside services will be at 1:00 PM Wednesday, September 29, 2004, at Fairview Cemetery, with Rev. Jerry Rockwell, son-in-law, of Pierre Part, Louisiana, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Davenport was born June 4, 1920 in Wise County, Texas, to Perry I. (Doc) Alexander and Elizabeth (Lizzie) Workman Alexander. She married Clifford V. Davenport on February 12, 1941 in Chillicothe, Texas. They moved from Waggoner's Pasture in Wilbarger County to Pampa in 1945. Mrs. Davenport was a homemaker, girl scout leader, election judge at Woodrow Wilson School, hospital auxiliary volunteer and a wonderful mother and "Nana." She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Pampa. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1990, and her parents. SURVIVORS: 2 Daughters: Marilyn Rockwell & husband Jerry of Pierre Part, Louisiana, and Jenny Coffey & husband Ross of Pampa. 5 Grandchildren: Clay Crites & wife Teri of Albany, Georgia, Lesley Crites of Panama City, Florida, Chad Caddel & wife Karen of Lubbock, Julie Rockwell Longman of Opelousas, Louisiana, and Micah Rockwell of Titusville, Florida. 12 Great-Grandchildren.
