Carl Novian, associate pastor, and Dr. Johnny Funderburg, pastor, officiating.BURIAL: Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Daniels was born February 23, 1922 in Lockney, Texas. She came to Pampa in 1954 from Amarillo. She married J. C. Daniels on June 26, 1954 in Pampa. He preceded her in death on January 30, 2000. She was a member of the First Baptist Church where she was a longtime 4th grade Sunday School class teacher. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Walter T. Peterson in 1951. SURVIVORS: 2 Daughters: Jona Smith and husband Davee, and Marilyn Steed, all of Pampa. 2 Sons: Barry Peterson of Amarillo, and Garry Peterson of Las Vegas, Nevada. 1 Daughter-in-Law: Becky Peterson of Eagle, Colorado. 1 Brother: Wayne Simpson of Amarillo. 7 Grandchildren: Don Peterson of Corvallis, Oregon, Erik Peterson of Avon, Colorado, Jerrod Imel and Jacee Smith, both of Pampa, Barry Peterson, Jr., of Austin, Laura-Marie Finley of Owings Mills, Maryland and Shelbi Whittenburg of Italy. 6 Great-Grandchildren.
