Hubert Kelly, pastor, officiating.BURIAL: Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Hopkins was born June 3, 1914 in Organ, Arkansas. He married Earsell Boyd on November 4, 1944. He had been a resident of Pampa since 1949. He retired from H. R. Thompson Parts & Supply after 47 years of service. He also worked for the Harvester Lanes for 13 years. He was a member and deacon of the Open Door Church of God in Christ.SURVIVORS: Wife: Earsell Dalton of the home. 2 Sons: John Hopkins, Jr., of Cheyenne, Wyoming, and Michael Dean Hopkins of Liberal, Kansas. 1 Daughter: Jenet Hopkins of Liberal, Kansas. Numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Lucille Murrill in 2000.
