She married Lawrence M. "Mutt" Scribner on July 20, 1946 in Mobeetie. He preceded her in death on February 13, 2001. She had been a resident of Pampa since 1952, moving from Mobeetie. She worked as a health and beauty aid buyer for Sandra Corporation for 17 years. She was a member of the Barrett Baptist Church and later the Cornerstone Baptist Church. She was a member of the Mobeetie Bluegrass Association and the Pampa Antique Tractor Club. SURVIVORS: 2 Sons: Myron Scribner & wife Helen of Haslet, and Billy Scribner & wife Cathy of Pampa. 1 Daughter: Becky Mayfield & husband Jeff of Pampa. 4 Sisters: Edna Tosh and Juanita Powell, both of Pampa, Audrey Powell of Decatur, and Ann Moyer of Paradise. 2 Brothers: Bill Alexander of Amarillo, and Carl Alexander of Ellacott, Colorado. 7 Grandchildren: Anna Bagley of Richland Hills, Julie Morris of Amarillo, Garrett Scribner of Pampa, Dr. Misty LeBlanc of Krum, Laura Scribner of Arlington, Brandon Mayfield of Rock Springs, Wyoming, and Lindsey Scribner of Houston. 4 Great-Grandchildren: Amanda Bagley and Emily Bagley, both of Richland Hills, Hunter Scribner of Arlington, and Ebby Morris of Amarillo.
