SERVICES: Graveside services will be at 3:00 PM, Wednesday, September 1, 2004 at Fairview Cemetery, with graveside rites courtesy of Pampa Chapter #65 Order of the Eastern Star. Memorial services will be at 4:00 PM Wednesday at the First Presbyterian Church, with Dr. Edwin Cooley, pastor, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Rife was born July 22, 1910 at Tiffin, Ohio. She married David A. Rife on September 12, 1935 at Tiffin. He preceded her in death in 1985. She had been a resident of the Pampa area since 1935. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and the Pampa Chapter #65 Order of the Eastern Star, where she just received her 75-year pin. She made and hand-painted beautiful china plates and other decorative china pieces, a hobby she acquired later in life. She was a member of the Progressive Home Demonstration Club, World Order of China Painters, and Texas State Federation of Porcelain Art Painters.SURVIVORS: 2 Nieces: Shirley Stahl and Gwenny Becknell, both of Inverness, Florida. 1 Nephew: Don Clagett of Franklin, Tennessee. 1 Cousin: Ken Clagett of Albuquerque, New Mexico.
