Ron Noble, pastor of Pampa Chapel of the Apostolic Faith, and Rev. Paul Nachtigall, Baptist minister, officiating.BURIAL: Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Rasco was born on May 13, 1917 in Archer County, Texas to Lonzo Lee Easter and Ida Lou Hewett Easter. She graduated from Wellington High School and married C. T. Rasco on June 5, 1937 in Mangum, Oklahoma. She and her husband had celebrated 67 years of marriage together. They began their lives together as farmers in Wellington and their oldest daughters, Travis, and second daughter, Gloria Beth, were born in Wellington. After moving to Kingsmill in 1943, they added a son, Gerald, a third daughter, Priscilla, and a second son, Tony. In 1959, the Rascos moved their family to Pampa. Dovie worked in the Pampa Middle School Cafeteria from 1977 until her retirement in 1987. She attended the Apostolic Church in Kingsmill until it relocated to Harvester Street in Pampa where she became a charter member of the Pampa Chapel of the Apostolic Faith. She was called "Grandma" by many whom she had loved and cared for. She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Gloria Beth Norris on June 27, 2004, a special grandson, Lonnie Cody, a brother, Raphael, and 4 sisters, Dimple, Mona Faye, Mary, and Shirley.SURVIVORS: Husband: C. T. Rasco of the Pampa Nursing Home; 2 daughters: Travis Bowman and husband Orlin of Harmon, OK and Priscilla Rasco of Choctaw, OK; 2 sons: Gerald Rasco and wife Joyce of Pampa and Tony Rasco of Choctaw, OK; 2 special sons: Carl Rollins and wife Judy of Choctaw, OK and Lonzo Cody and wife Donna of Allen, OK; 1 sister: Elva Glenn of Vero Beach, FL; son-in-law: Bill Norris of Pampa; brother-in-law: Royce Rasco and wife Lilly of Enid, Oklahoma; sister-in-law: Faye Rasco of Abilene; 21 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.MEMORIALS: The family requests in lieu of flowers that memorials may be made to Pampa Chapel of the Apostolic Faith, 711 E.
