SERVICES: 10:30 AM, Monday, August 16, 2004, at the United Methodist Church of Miami, with Rev. Don Kinder, pastor, and John Curry, officiating. BURIAL: Graveside services will be at 10:00 AM Wednesday, Aug. 18, 2004, at the Nelson Family Cemetery in St. Joseph, Missouri, with Rev. David Mejia, Methodist minister, officiating. Arrangements are by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa, and Meierhoffer Family Funeral Service of St. Joseph, Missouri.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Harvey was born March 11, 1916 in St. Joseph, Missouri. She was reared in Gray County and graduated from Pampa High School in 1934. She attended St. Joseph's College in St. Joseph, Missouri for 2 years and attended Texas Tech University in Lubbock for 2 years. She married Lloyd R. Harvey on September 24, 1938 on the family farm in Gray County. She had been a resident of Pampa since 1944. She was a member of the Roberts County Home Extension Club and the Daughters of the American Revolution. She had been a member of the United Methodist Church in Miami since 1927 where she taught Sunday School for many years.SURVIVORS: Husband: Lloyd R. Harvey of the home. 2 Daughters: Jeannine Johnson and husband Bobby of Houston and Mary Ann McIlvain and husband E. J. of Victoria. 2 Sons: Lloyd E. Harvey and wife Kay of Pampa and Drew Harvey and wife Paula of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. 1 Sister: Mary Guilmette of St. Joseph, Missouri. 7 Grandchildren: Whitney Young, Vonda Hellner and husband Todd, all of Houston; Meredith Phillips and husband Brent of Waco; Rankin Harvey and wife Jennifer of Ruidoso, NM; Angela Overman and husband Clark of Dallas; and Tyson Harvey and Allyson Harvey, both of Pittsburgh, 3 Great-Grandchildren: Victoria Hellner of Houston and Anderson Phillips and Keyson Phillips, both of Waco. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers, John Henry Nelson and Harry Nelson, Jr., and her parents, Harry Alfred Nelson and Catherine Potter Nelson.MEMORIALS: United Methodist Church, 201 S.
