SERVICES: Graveside services will be at 11:00 AM Friday, July 30, 2004, at Fairview Cemetery, with Rev. I. L. Patrick, pastor of the Macedonia Baptist Church, officiating. Memorial services will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, July 30, 2004, at the Macedonia Baptist Church. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Jackson was born February 27, 1910 in Hearn, Texas, to Julie & Turner Sims. She later moved to Mart, Texas. She married Curtis Jackson who preceded her in death on November 25, 1968. During their marriage they moved to Pampa and from this union, one son, Cecil Jackson, was born. She was a housewife and a homemaker. She was a charter member of the Macdeonia Baptist Church since its origin in the late 1930's. She was preceded in death by a son, Billy Holliday, 2 granddaughters, Eyvonne Dowdy Jackson and Rhonda Dowdy Jackson, 5 brothers and 7 sisters. SURVIVORS: 1 Son: Cecil Jackson & wife Brenda of Amarillo. 4 Grandchildren: Romeryl Dowdy and Cecil Dowdy, both of Pampa, Cori Jackson and Steve Jackson, both of Amarillo. 5 Great-Grandchildren: Ashley Dowdy, Auberi Dowdy and Martin Caldwell, all of Pampa, Montra Jackson and Trevontre Dowdy, both of Dallas, and a host of relatives and friends.
