BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Sober was born August 8, 1933 in Granola, Oklahoma. He was an Army Veteran serving in the Korean Conflict. He married Thelma "Honey" Reeves in 1968 in Miami, Texas; she died 1994 in Pampa, Texas. He retired from the Oilfield industry in 1992 and he was a Baptist.SURVIVORS: 1 daughter: Goldie Welch of Marion, Arkansas. 3 sons: Wesley Sober of Moore, Oklahoma, Jack Sober of Sweetwater, Tennessee, and David Sober of Conway, Arkansas. 2 brothers: Luther Sober of Brownwood, Texas and Jack Sober of Amarillo, Texas, 18 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by 1 brother: Everett Sober.MEMORIALS: American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 2680, N. Canton, Ohio 44720.
