She married A. J. Hindman on September 21, 1934 in Amarillo. He preceded her in death on July 1, 1989. She worked as a sales clerk for C. R. Anthony's for over 40 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and the Anna Sunday School Class. She was a volunteer for the Pampa Senior Citizens for a long time. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward & Carrie Adams Haggard, one brother Tom Haggard, and one sister Eddie Martin.SURVIVORS: Several nieces: Shirley Eagle & husband Kent of Fritch, Betty Terrell & husband Bill of Angleton, Linda Iker & husband Denny of Stamford, Connecticut, and Ruth Roeder & husband Rick of Amarillo.
