SERVICES: Graveside services will be at 11:00 AM Friday, July 16, 2004, at Fairview Cemetery, with Rev. Thacker Haynes, pastor of the McLean United Methodist Church, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Hankins was born August 13, 1931 in Cushing, Oklahoma. She was a 1949 graduate of Cushing High School. She married Luther Hankins on December 18, 1954 in Los Angeles, California. She had been a resident of Pampa since 1985, moving from Knox City. She was a homemaker and an avid china painter.SURVIVORS: Husband: Luther Hankins of the home. 2 Sons: Bruce Hankins of Guymon, Oklahoma, and Jeff Hankins of Odessa. 2 Sisters: Betty McAulay & husband Walter of Sand Springs, Oklahoma, and Phyllis Ramsey & husband Jim of Cushing, Oklahoma. 1 Brother: Bob Murrell & wife Carolyn of Joplin, Missouri. 2 Grandchildren: Jeremy Hankins and Larissa Damron, both of Odessa.
