SERVICES: Graveside services will be at 11:00 AM Saturday, July 10, 2004, at Memory Gardens Cemetery, with Rev. Gary Brown of Odessa, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Hess was born May 12, 1913 in Wayne, Oklahoma. She had been a resident of Pampa since 1930. She married B. A. "Pete" Sumner on September 19, 1932 in Purcell, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on August 15, 1972. She later married George Washington Hess on December 9, 1976 in Pampa. He preceded her in death on June 10, 1994. She worked for One Hour Martinizing as a cashier for 9 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church. SURVIVORS: 1 Daughter: Nancy Crocker of Pampa. 1 Step-Son: Ronald Hess of Pampa. 2 Step-Daughters: Janice Peacock of Dallas, and Delores Matter of Mobile, Alabama. 12 Grandchildren, 17 Great-Grandchildren, 2 Great-Great-Grandchildren.MEMORIALS: Edward Abraham Memorial Home, 803 Birch, Canadian, Texas 79014, or BSA Hospice, 800 N.
