SERVICES: Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM Tuesday, July 6, 2004, at the Miami Cemetery in Miami, Texas, with Pastor Lance Wood of the First Baptist Church of Miami, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa, Texas.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Wileman was born February 27, 1925 at Miami, Texas. She had been a resident of Downey, California for the past 52 years. She married Winfred Homer Wileman on September 20, 1941 in Erick, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on October 29, 2002. She was the first woman in California and the third woman in the United States to pass the test to become an EEG technician. She was a Baptist. She was a member of the Downey Women's Club. She held an amateur radio license for 50 years and held her advanced license, using the call letters W5EEG.SURVIVORS: 1 Son: Ronald Wayne Wileman & wife Kathleen Patricia of Dana Point, California. 2 Grandsons: Steven Dennis Wileman and Jay Thomas Wileman. 4 Great-Grandchildren: Ashley Nicole Wileman, Brittney Lauren Wileman, Cayla Brooke Wileman, and Austin Ty Wileman. SPECIAL NOTICE: The body will lie in state from 8:00 AM until Noon Tuesday, July 6, 2004, at the funeral home.
