SERVICES: Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM Thursday, July 1, 2004, at Fairview Cemetery, with Billy Jones, Church of Christ minister, and Steven Gaines, Church of Christ minister, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Griffey was born July 23, 1915 in Roger Mills County, Oklahoma. She married Carl Griffey on December 22, 1954 in Cheyenne, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on December 31, 1989. She had been a resident of Pampa since 1958. She was a homemaker and a member of the West Side Church of Christ.SURVIVORS: 1 Son: Larry Gaines of Imperial. 3 Grandsons: Larry Michael Gaines of Imperial, Steven Gaines and John Mark Gaines, both of Abilene. 2 Great-Grandchildren. 1 Brother: James Bonner of Clinton, Oklahoma. 1 Sister: Eula Hayden of Eagle River, Alaska.
