Barry Loving, officiating.BURIAL: Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Stringer was born October 2, 1914 in Rice, Texas. He married Catherine Norton on November 11, 1933 in Groesbeck, Texas. He had been a resident of Pampa since 1965. He retired from IRI as a salesman after 40 years of service. He was a member of the Kilgore Masonic Lodge #101 AF & AM. He was a member of the First Christian Church and a former member of the Associated Oilfield Service Contractors (AOSC) organization.SURVIVORS: Wife: Catherine of the home. 2 Sons: Joe Thomas Stringer of Pampa, and Howard Glen Stringer of Mustang, Oklahoma. 3 Sisters: Mary Jo Osborne of Comanche, Betty Lynn Anderson of Chigaco, Illinois, and Janie Ruth Stringer of San Angelo. 1 Brother: David Phillip Stringer of Keller. 4 Grandchildren, 10 Great-Grandchildren.
