He received a B. S. degree in civil engineering from the University of California at Berkeley in 1938. He was a veteran of the U. S. Navy during World War II where he was a PT boat commander and he was a Lt. jg in the U. S. Naval Reserve. He married Maxine Holt on Dec. 23, 1943 in Sayre, Oklahoma. She preceded him in death on Nov. 23, 2001. From 1935-1955, Mr. Milliron was an engineering firms and contractor's field engineer. From 1955-1979, he owned and operated Milliron Engineering, a general construction contracting firm. He was a registered professional engineer and was a member of ASCE, ASSE, and TSPE. He was a member of First United Methodist Church. He was a member of Pampa Masonic Lodge #966 and was a charter member of Top O' Texas Masonic Lodge #1381. Mr. Milliron was a member of El Paso Scottish Rite Consistory, Khiva Shrine Temple of Amarillo, York Rite Bodies of Borger, and Pampa Shrine Club. He was a licensed private pilot and was a member of the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association.
