SERVICES: The body was cremated and is unavailable for viewing. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Memorial services will be at 2:00 PM Saturday, May 22, 2004, at the River of Life Church in Skellytown, with Pastor Danny Trussell, officiating.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Johns was born March 18, 1926 in Kellyville, Oklahoma, to Claude M. and Minerva Jane Medley. She was a business manager in Pampa for Levines, True Value, Franklin's, and the Caprock Apartments. She also served as the business manager of apartments in Houston and Dallas. She married Clarence Parks who preceded her in death. She was a member of the Senior Friends of Pampa and the River of Life Church in Skellytown. She devoted her time and love to her family and pen pals. She is to be remembered for her love of her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Herold David Medley, one great-nephew Michael Townsend Cornelison, and one great-great-nephew, Roy Tyler Jorden Reeves.SURVIVORS: 1 Son: Claude Parks & wife Anita of Skellytown. 1 Daughter: Micki Wieringa & husband John of Houston. 1 Step-Daughter: Janie Ruth Chisum. 1 Step-Son: Clarence Parks, Jr. 3 Sisters: Naomi Cornelison & husband Alvin of Pampa, Loraine Ingle & husband Bill of Fletcher, Oklahoma, and Mavis Coffer & husband J. T. of Marlow, Oklahoma. 4 Grandchildren, 9 Great-Grandchildren, 1 Uncle, Howard Paul Jones of Iowa. Special Friends: Michael & Marty Jackson of Plains, Kansas, Mary Chatagnier of Houston, and Ted & Kathy Knishkern of Branson, Missouri.
