SERVICES: The body was cremated and is unavailable for viewing. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Memorial services will be at 2:00 PM Friday, May 21, 2004, at the Cornerstone Baptist Church, with Pastor Paul Nachtigall, officiating.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Smith was born January 26, 1933 in Rush Springs, Oklahoma. She had been a lifelong resident of Pampa. She married Virgel K. Smith on April 1, 1974. He preceded her in death on March 2, 1987. She was employed at Highland General Hospital, retiring after 17 years of service. She was a Baptist.SURVIVORS: 3 Sons: Stephen R. Myers of Duncan, Oklahoma, Ernest D. Myers of Plattsburg, Missouri, and Lee D. Myers of Pampa. 3 Brothers: J. R. Cross of Plano, and Randall K. Cross and Maurice W.
