SERVICES: Mrs. Foster was cremated. Memorial services will be at 10:30 AM Saturday, May 15, 2004 at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel with Rev. Scott Penrod, pastor of First United Methodist Church, officiating. Arrangements are by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Foster was born October 26, 1911 in Russellville, Alabama. She attended schools in Alabama and Texas, and attended business college and worked in Amarillo prior to her marriage. She married Herman D. Foster in Childress, Texas. They lived in Childress, Amarillo and Borger before making their home in Pampa. Mr. Foster was a pharmacist who owned the Harvester Drug in Pampa, and co-owned B & B Pharmacy in Pampa. Mrs. Foster worked for the Medical & Surgical Clinic in Pampa, and was later co-owner and manager of B & B Pharmacy. She was a member of the Epsilon Sigma Alpha Sorority, Omicron Chapter, and was active in the B & P W. She loved to sing and dance and was involved in the Lion's Club Minstrel for many years. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Pampa. She had been a resident of Dallas since 1997 to be near her children.SURVIVORS: 1 Daughter: Janis L. Chisholm of Dallas. 1 Son: Dan Robert Foster & wife Molly of Dallas. 2 Brothers: William O. Johnston of Borger, and J. E. Johnston of Clarendon. 2 Grandsons: Dan Thomas Chisholm & wife Amy of Tucson, Arizona, and Mark Foster Chisholm of Dallas. 1 Granddaughter: Kelli Colleen Chisholm of Long Beach, California. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman D. Foster in 1953, and two brothers, Col. Henry R. Johnston of Arlington, Virginia, and Walter H.
