He had been a resident of Amarillo for the last 30 years. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Pampa.SURVIVORS: 1 sister: Frances Ann McKee of Amarillo, TX, and 9 nieces and 3 nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents: William and Ethel Simmons, 1 brother: Wallace Simmons, 2 sisters: Ethel Bentley and Mary Ellen Powers.
