SERVICES: 2:00 PM Saturday, April 17, 2004, at the First Baptist Church in Vera, Texas, with Rev. Jim Southerland, First Christian Church minister from Kansas, officiating. Arrangements in Vera will be under the direction of Seymour Memorial Funeral Home in Seymour, with burial to be held at the Vera Cemetery. Memorial services will be at 6:00 PM Monday, April 19, 2004, at the First Christian Church in Pampa, with Rev. Barry Loving, pastor, officiating. Local arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Ethan was born August 13, 1990 at Pampa. He had been a resident of Pampa since January 5, 2004, where he attended Pampa Middle School. He was a former resident of Guthrie, Texas where he was active in the 4H horse program, and where he won 9th in the state competition last year. He played football in Bryson. He was a member of the First Christian Youth Group in Pampa. He loved to ride horses and being a cowboy. He loved bluegrass music, loved to draw and loved to read. SURVIVORS: Father & Step-Mother: Cricket Lowrey & Jeffie Lewis of the home. Mother & Step-Father: Jerra & David Jones of Guthrie. 1 Brother: Caleb Lowrey of Guthrie. 2 Sisters: Caryn Lowrey and Robyn Lowrey, both of Amarillo. Paternal Grandparents: Buddy & Billie Lowrey of Pampa. Maternal Grandparents: Dr. James & Alyce Morton of Canyon. 1 Great-Grandmother: Eileene Ryan of Seymour. 1 Step-Grandmother: Lynda Beck of Vera. 2 Step-Brothers: Luke Jones and Matt Jones, both of Guthrie. Aunts and Uncles include: Jolinda & Rex Childress, and Lee & Lena Lowrey, all of Pampa, Buck & Marquita Blackwell of Hageman, New Mexico, and Andy & Dana Beck of Vera. Numerous cousins.MEMORIALS: First Christian Church Youth Group, 1633 N. Nelson, Pampa, Texas 79065.SPECIAL NOTICE: The family will receive friends at Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Home in Pampa from 5:00-7:00 PM Thursday, April 15, 2004. The body will then lie in state at the Seymour Memorial Funeral Home from 12:00 noon Friday, till service time Saturday,April 17, 2004, and the family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 PM Friday at Seymour Memorial Funeral Home.
