Paul Carruth, associate minister of Youth & Education with the First Christian Church, officiating.BURIAL: Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Bivins was born September 5, 1936 in Shamrock, Texas. He was reared in Borger and graduated from Borger High School in 1954. He joined the U. S. Navy in 1954 and served through 1957. He married Joy Mathews in 1958. He was employed by the U. S. Post Office in Pampa from 1959 until retiring in 1992 as Superintendent of the Mail. He was a member of the First Christian Church.SURVIVORS: Wife: Joy of the home. 2 Daughters: Teresa Davis & husband Doug, and Chanda Schaub & husband Steve. 1 Son: Reeves Lynn Bivins & wife DeAnn. 6 Grandchildren: Riordan Hill, Jerrod Bivins, Kristin Bivins, Nathan Smith, Jeramie Bivins, and Cameron Schaub. 1 Great-Grandchild: RayLynn Hill.MEMORIALS: BSA Hospice, P.O.
