Donovan McCunn

SERVICES: Graveside services will be at 2:30 PM Tuesday, March 23, 2004, at the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mr. McCunn was born April 8, 1928 in Clarinda, Iowa. He joined the U. S. Army in 1946 and served in occupied Germany until 1949. He was a member of the 2nd Army HED until 1963, and he retired from the Army in 1968. He married Erika Hess on November 10, 1948, and she preceded him in death in 1981. He was a computer programmer at the Baptist Hospital in San Antonio. He later married Florence Wagner on December 25, 1985 in Pampa. He had been a resident of Pampa since 1985, and he was a Lutheran.SURVIVORS: Wife: Florence "Oley" McCunn of the home. 2 Daughters: Linda Ruth McCunn of Pampa, and Carman Ammerman & husband Richard of Toledo, Ohio. 2 Step-Daughters: Vickie Moose & husband Perry of Belton, and Nancy Poole & husband Bob of Pampa. 2 Brothers: Jack McCunn & wife Mickie of Houston and Elvin McCunn. 2 Sisters: LuAnn Ruh & husband Merle of California, and Genein Lencon & husband Clint of Colorado. 6 Grandchildren, 3 Great-Grandchildren.
