SERVICES: 10:00 AM Saturday, March 20, 2004, at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel in Pampa, with Rev. Ernie Wilkinson and Rev. Suzie Wilkinson, deacons of St. Matthew's Episcopal Church, officiating.BURIAL: Fairview Cemetery in Pampa, under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Hunter-Reicher was born February 2, 1938 in Pampa. She lived most of her life in southern California before returning to Pampa in 1980. She had been a resident of Dallas for the past 10 years. She graduated from Coronado High School where she held many class, club and student body offices. She attended Colorado State University where she was a member of the Chi Omega Sorority. She had previously attended the Coronado School of Fine Arts and the Los Angeles Art Institute. She became an interior designer and owned and operated Reicher Drapery Manufacturer and House of Draperies. She was a member of the L. A. Advertising Club, Epsilon Sigma Alpha Sorority, and the Daughters of the American Revolution. She was a member of the Lutheran Church of Atonement in California, and a member of St. Matthew's Episcopal Church in Pampa. She was preceded in death by her parents, John & Mary Leland. SURVIVORS: 1 Son: James Hunter & wife Jana of Garland. 1 Daughter: Mia Hunter of Amarillo. 1 Grandson: Rylan Hunter of Garland. 1 Granddaughter: Shayla Hunter of Garland.
