SERVICES: will be at 2:00 PM, Monday, March 15, 2004, at Central Baptist Church in Pampa, with Rev. Norman Rushing, pastor of First Baptist Church in Childress, Texas and Rev. Rick Parnell, associate pastor of Central Baptist Church in Pampa officiating.BURIAL: will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Pampa under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Conner was born July 29, 1919 in Cookeville, Tennessee. She married J. Frank Conner on April 19, 1937 in Lubbock, Texas. She was a resident of Pampa since 1937. She was a homemaker and a member of Central Baptist Church, member of the ladies auxiliary of the VFW and was a former Girl Scout Leader. She also was involved in Coronado Nursing Home Ministry. She was preceded in death by her parents Annetta and Byrd Winchester Phillips and a sister Rosie Yokey.SURVIVORS: Husband: J. Frank Conner of the home; 1 daughter and son-in-law: Donna Marie and husband Tim Eller of Missouri City, Texas; 3 sons and daughter-in-laws: Richard and wife Pat Conner of Allen, Texas, Joe and wife Dean Conner of Hewitt, Texas and Jimmy Conner of Pampa. 2 brothers: Finis Phillips of Lubbock, and Mitchell and wife Vesta Phillips of Pampa. 2 sisters: Arrena Pettit of Plano, Texas and Jessie Ingley of Lubbock. 12 grandchildren, and 25 great grandchildren.MEMORIALS: May be made to Central Baptist Church Building Fund, 513 E.
