Don Kinder, pastor, officiating.BURIAL: Graveside services will be at 3:00 PM at Llano Cemetery in Amarillo under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Pitcock was born on July 26, 1935 in Panhandle to Henry Lee and Josie Ladonia Malone Brackeen. She lived in Amarillo most of her life. She was a member of the V. F. W. Auxiliary #5606 in Kansas City, Missouri. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Paula Ladonia Annette Collins, in 1951, a grandson, Kenneth Wayne Mims, in 1998, by her parents, by 3 sisters: Lucille West, Ruby Grider, and Christine Karlin, and by a brother, Omer L. Brackeen.SURVIVORS: 3 daughters: Kay Mims and husband Larry of Tyler; Stephanie Early and husband Rusty of Miami; Charlene Matthews and friend Jim Mitchell of Amarillo; a foster daughter, Janet Webb, and husband Jack of Jacksonville, TX; 4 stepdaughters: Nancy Hemmingway, Debbie Helton, Cecelia Harsen, and Brenda Herbert; 1 stepson: Charlie Muecke; a companion of 11 years: John Muecke; 2 sisters: Kay Dixon of Amarillo and Audrey King of Ruidoso, NM; 25 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, and friends, and a very special longtime friend of 55 years, Faye Polvadore of Amarillo.Grandsons and friends will serve as pallbearers.
