SERVICES: 11:00 AM Tuesday, March 2, 2004 at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel with Rev. Carl Novian, associate pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating.BURIAL: Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Shelton was born November 3, 1920 at Center, Texas. She married George Shelton on July 26, 1940 in Roswell, New Mexico. He preceded her in death in 1973. She had been a resident of Pampa since 1940. She worked as a clerk for Tarpley Music Store, retiring after 37 years of service. She was a member of the First Baptist Church where she attended the Business and Professional Women's Sunday School Class. She was a member and past president of the American Businesswomen's Association.She was preceded in death by a daughter, Bunnie Hukill, in 2002.SURVIVORS: 1 Daughter: Jerry Clark of Pampa. 2 Sons: James Shelton of Abilene and George Shelton of Plano. 14 Grandchildren, 21 Great-Grandchildren, 3 Great-Great-Grandchild.
