SERVICES: 10:30 AM Thursday, February 26, 2004 at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel in Pampa, Texas, with Rev. Robin Gantz, Presbyterian minister, Dr. Edwin Cooley, pastor of First Presbyterian Church of Pampa, and Rev. Terry Simmons, grandson and pastor of the Grace Baptist Church of Hobbs, New Mexico, officiating.BURIAL: Fairview Cemetery in Pampa, under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa.BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Arney was born September 3, 1917 at Wynona, Missouri. She graduated from Pampa High School in Pampa, Texas in 1935. She had been a resident of Pampa since 1929, moving to Conway, Arkansas 5 years ago. She married Bert Lowell Arney on June 5, 1937. He preceded her in death in 1988. She was a member of the Epsilon Sigma Alpha Sorority, and the First Presbyterian Church. She served on the board of directors of the Genesis House and the Pampa Senior Citizens. She was a former director of the Highland General Hospital Auxiliary. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alvin Lee & Blanche Randolph, and her brother, R. W. Randolph.SURVIVORS: 2 Daughters: Barbara Arney of Prescott, Arizona, and Carol Simmons of Conway, Arkansas. 5 Grandchildren, 6 Great-Grandchildren.MEMORIALS: to a favorite charity, Pampa Meals on Wheels, P.O.
