She was a resident of Pampa from 1942 until moving to Amarillo in 1999. She married S. W. Dougherty on Sept. 30, 1960 in Brownfield. He preceded her in death in 1984. She was a member of the Cowboy Church at Craig Methodist Sagecreek Assisted Living in Amarillo.SURVIVORS: 1 daughter: Melissa Urban and husband Larry of Dumas; 1 son: Ken Dougherty and wife Kelly of Canyon; 1 sister: Alene Hagar of Hemphill; 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
