SERVICES: 2:00 PM Friday, February 6, 2004, at Trinity Fellowship Church, with Pastor Lonny Robbins, officiating.BURIAL: Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Finney was born March 15, 1927 at Shamrock, Oklahoma. He was a veteran of the U. S. Navy, serving from 1945 until 1946 during World War II. He later joined the U. S. Army, serving from 1948 until 1949. He married Pat Hatcher on August 18, 1970 at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was a pumper for Cabot Oil & Gas Division for 36 years. He was a lifetime member of the VFW, and the I.O.O.F. Lodge. He was a member of Trinity Fellowship Church.SURVIVORS: Wife: Pat of the home. 2 Daughters: Connie Hicks of Rogers, DeAnna Helton of Allison. 3 Sons: Marvin Finney, Jr., and Jerry Finney, both of Pampa, and F. Dale Finney of Amarillo. 1 Sister: Rosetta Hoffman of Fremont, California. 2 Brothers: Armal Finney and Olan Finney, both of Pampa. 11 Grandchildren: Trae Finney, Jamey Finney, Matthew Finney, Nathan Hicks, Erin Hicks, Mark Thomas Lamar, II & wife Robin, Jennifer Lamar, Justin Wade Helton, Jessica Helton, Jessie Finney, and Samantha Finney. 5 Great-Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alford & Sibble Finney, 2 sisters, Ila Marker and Anna Belle Upton, and 3 brothers, Delmus Finney, Woodrow Finney and Laymon Finney.MEMORIALS: BSA Hospice, 800 N. Sumner, Pampa, Texas 79065.
