She graduated from Texas Tech University in 1933. She taught in the Miami ISD as a music teacher. She received her Master of Education degree from West Texas State University in 1962. She had been a resident of Miami until 1974. She was a resident of White Deer until 1997 when she moved to Pampa. She married Miles W. O'Loughlin, Jr., on October 18, 1936. He preceded her in death on February 2, 1972. She later married John Morris in 1974, and he preceded her in death in 1989. She was a member and past worthy matron of the Order of the Eastern Star. She taught many private piano lessons for 6 decades in the Texas Panhandle. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of White Deer. SURVIVORS: 1 Son: Miles O'Loughlin, III of Amarillo. 2 Brothers: Robert Earl of Ennis, and James Earl of Houston. 1 Grandson: Dennis O'Loughlin of Portland, Oregon.MEMORIALS: may be made to a favorite charity.
