SERVICES: 10:00 AM Monday, January 26, 2004 at the First Christian Church with Paul Carruth, youth minister, officiating. BURIAL: Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors with Masonic graveside rites by Pampa Masonic Lodge #966 AF & AM.BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Washington was born September 14, 1920 in Watonga, Oklahoma and was a resident of Pampa since 1934. He married Margaret Eckerd on May 24, 1946. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army Air Corps during World War II. He worked for IRI International from 1945 until retiring in 1984 after 39 years of service. He joined the Pampa Masonic Lodge #966 AF & AM in 1958. He held a 32nd degree from the El Paso Scottish Rite Consistory, and was a member of Khiva Shrine Temple in Amarillo, Pampa Shrine Club, and Pampa Chapter #65 Order of the Eastern Star. He was a Cabot Volunteer van driver and Meals on Wheels volunteer. He was a member of the First Christian Church and Bethany Bible Class.SURVIVORS: Wife: Margaret Washington of the home, 2 daughters: Mary Tilger of De Soto Texas, and Ann Dalton of Bartlesville, Oklahoma. 1 brother: Bill Washington of Pampa. 2 sisters: Donna Sims and Clara Imel both of Pampa, and 5 grandchildren.MEMORIALS: Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children, 2222 Welborn St., Dallas, Texas 75219, or First Christian Church, 1633 N.
