Barry Loving, pastor of the First Christian Church, officiating.BURIAL: Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Clark was born February 6, 1919 in Altoona, Pennsylvania. He married Mary Lee Strange on February 8, 1943 in Pampa. She preceded him in death on August 18, 1991. He had been a resident of Pampa since 1947. He was a 1st lieutenant, serving with the U. S. Air Force during World War II. He was the first charter president and charter member of the Pampa Optimist Club. He was a flight instructor at the Pampa Air Base. He retired from Bob Johnson Motor Company in 1988.SURVIVORS: 2 Sons: John Clark, Jr., of Houston, and Mike Clark of Pampa. 2 Daughters: Cheryl Hulsey of Houston, and Jackie Waite of Gaylord, Michigan. 9 Grandchildren, 6 Great-Grandchildren.MEMORIALS: Pampa High School Athletic Department MPAC Building Fund, 111 E. Harvester, Pampa, Texas 79065.
